Cool Stuff

For the beginner runner the following is a link for a run mapper provided by google:

...just enter the starting point of your run and then click off your route to find out exactly how far you have run. For the more advanced runner and bike rider give this a try

....it is the Garmin 305 GPS. The unit is great for running and bike riding. Provides speed, distance time, heart rate, you name it. I think I got it for $160 online? At this stage of the game I can't run without it.

In addition to timing and measuring your run...no distance runner should be without a hydration belt:
the belt securely holds 40 oz of liquid and has two small pouches for carrying keys, cash or gel packs. A must have for long distance running in the hot summer months. The key to a quick post run recovery is to hydrate properly during your workout.

And last but not least an absolute must short running shorts..the shorter the better

...just kidding...I don't know how men run in these things. It is definitely a tough look to pull off.
